One of MEK’s driving passion that didn’t come to much fruition in his design studio is the meticulous craft of font creation. Started with Dinasti font, a personal project way back in the early days of the studio (2013)— he quickly realised that font foundries in early 2010s Indonesia wasn’t really the wisest choice to have a sustainable income and growth.

While still working with logotypes for SANROK Studio’s clients, his kindle quickly dimmed out for being in the nitty gritty of creative industry in Indonesia. Only in web3 that he found his passion for typography (and for art!) back.
